People’s Choice Judging

Contestants will pay a $20.00 Entry Fee with a limit of 10 Contestants.
 
Contestants shall:
     1.      Prepare and cook food on site or from a state approved kitchen.
2.      All food must be cooked on gas or charcoal (no electric skillets).
3.      Wear disposable gloves when touching food.
4.      Provide enough food to provide samples to the judges.

ATAC will provide gloves and tables as well as cups, spoons and napkins for samples
 
The winner will be determined by multiplying the votes of the judges by the percentage of how much of the food used was grown in Lincoln County or within a one hundred mile radius.  Proof of food purchase will be required.  A note from produce vendor will be considered proof.
The contestants will provide samples to the judges. Judging will be the people’s choice so, please be prepared to provide between 100-150 samples for judging.  Between 11a.m and 1:00 p.m. samples will be provided to the public who will write their choice on a voting card and the winner will be announced after 1:00.
